  14. I have a fairly new (1 month old) 28.8 sportster External Modem. All of 
  15. my comm. programs (3 on my computer that I've tried) refuse to recognize 
  16. the sportster after initial power up. I must turn the sportster off and 
  17. back on again to get an "ok" after the ATZ prompt. Far as I can tell 
  18. everything else is just working fine.

  20. Can anybody tell me the magic that will make the thing work on the first 
  21. power on sequence? ;-|
